Standard Editing
Suitable for scientific documents that do not require extensive rewriting
This option includes:
- Correcting the spelling and grammar;
- Adjusting the wording and structure of the sentences, for improved readability and clarity of the document;
- Correcting formatting errors.
Time permitting, we may also suggest changes pertaining to the content and structure of the document, through:
- Drawing attention to discrepancies between the text and the figures/ tables;
- Identification of inconsistencies and logical flaws;
- Highlighting paragraphs that are ambiguous or require more details to facilitate understanding;
- Highlighting repetitive and superfluous information;
- Other advice on how to improve the delivery of information.
This is the preferred option for authors who want us to focus mainly on the language and general form.
Our scientific suggestions will give authors the possibility to make further improvements themselves or they can request to receive our Premium services.
Cost: 50 EUR per hour*
Premium Editing
Suitable for scientific documents that require in-depth editing and significant rewriting
Besides the language edit, this option also offers a scientific edit that can include:
- Various degrees of rewriting as deemed necessary to improve readability and the eloquence of the message;
- Help with restructuring the content for better flow and more impactful delivery of the information;
- Correcting the discrepancies between the text and the figures/ tables;
- Elimination of inconsistencies and logical flaws;
- Online discussions with the author(s) to clarify ambiguities and modification of the text, accordingly;
- Clear and concise output through streamlining the information and eliminating repetitive or superfluous details;
- Scientific feedback to improve the quality and the impact of the document, whenever possible and only upon request.
This option involves more substantial revisions of the content and is the appropriate choice for authors who entrust us with making most of the necessary modifications.
Cost: 75 EUR per hour*
PhD Thesis Editing
A discounted option, available exclusively for PhD students
This option includes:
- Correcting the spelling and grammar;
- Adjusting the wording and structure of the sentences for improved readability and clarity of the thesis;
- Correcting formatting errors;
- Drawing attention to any discrepancies between the text and the figures/ tables;
- Identification of inconsistencies and logical flaws;
- Highlighting paragraphs that are ambiguous or require more details to facilitate understanding;
- Highlighting repetitive and superfluous information;
- Further suggestions on how to ensure that your thesis abides by scientific standards and accurately delivers the information.
Cost: 30 EUR per 1000 words*
* There is a 30% surcharge for urgent orders. Normally, we aim to complete editing projects under 8,000 words within 5-6 business days.
Please note:
- For all types of services, our modifications will be shown as tracked changes. Any additional observations or suggestions will be inserted as side comments.
- As a rough estimate, for research articles less than 5,000 words, we expect the Standard editing time to remain below 10 hours. For documents that do not include data figures, the Standard editing time can be significantly shorter.
- For Premium editing, we can tailor our services to your budget, when we agree in advance to focus specifically on those aspects that are most important to you.
